On the Function and Role of the Procuratorial Organ in Build of the Socialism Harmonious Society

认识和把握检察职能与构建社会主义和谐社会的关系,既要看到检察机关在构建社会主义和谐社会中的地位和作用,围绕着促进和保障民主法治、公平正义、诚信友爱、充满活力、安定有序、人与自然和谐相处的和谐社会建设,调整检察政策,更好地履行法律监督职能,也要看到检察事业的科学发展是构建社会主义和谐社会的一个方面,提高法律监督能力也是我们党提高构建社会主义和谐社会的执政能力的一个重要组成部分。检察机关必须适应构建社会主义和谐社会的新形势、新要求,不断开拓创新,加强制度建设、队伍建设和信息化建设,提高执法水平,为检察职能在构建社会主义和谐社会中发挥积极作用创造条件。

To understand the relation between the procuratorial function and build of the socialism harmonious society, on one hand, it should recognize the role and status of the procuratorial organ, adjust the procuratorial policy, and perform the function of legal supervision with focus on accelerating and safeguarding the build of harmonious society of democracy, rule of law, justice, good faith, dynamic, stabilized, well-ordered and human-nature harmony, and on the other hand, it should realize that scientific development of procuratorial work is one of the important aspects of building the harmonious society and improvement of the competence of legal supervision is part of enhancing the ruling ability. The procuratorial organ should improve its capacity of law enforcement in accordance with the new requirement to exert influence in process of build of the harmonious society.
