摘要
应用韩礼德功能文体学中的语言模式化理论对《警察与赞美诗》中的主要和次要的语言型式做了尝试性的分析,探讨这些语言型式对体现人物性格和表达语篇主题意义的作用。
This paper makes a preliminary study of the patterns of lexis in The Cop and the Anthem by O. Henry according to Halliday theory of lexical patterns and, in this way, analyzes the significance of these lexical patterns in revealing the theme of the discourse and the personalities of the characters in it.
