To Recognize the Beginning of "the Literary Self-Conscious"

关于“文学自觉”的起始时间一直是学术界争议较为激烈的问题。究其原因乃在于众家对“文学自觉”判断标准的理解各不相同。其实,“文学自觉”是指创作群体为文学而文学的意识和对文学技术和创作个性化的有意识追求行为。换句话说,“文学自觉”的标准应是以抒情性为特点的内自觉与以形式表现为特点的外自觉的统一体。

The beginning of ＂Literary Self-consciousness＂ has been disputed vigorously in academic circles because the standard of ＂Literary Self-consciousness＂ is different. In fact, ＂Literary Self-consciousness＂ refers to the consciousness of ＂literature for literature＇s sake＂ and the behavior to pursue the literary technique in the artistic community. In other words, the standard of ＂Literary Self-consciousness＂ should be the unity of the inner self-consciousness of sentiment and the exterior self-consciousness of the form.
