The American Reader-response Criticism, whose gist is to stimulate the creation and actualization of the literature text on the part of the readers by their reading experience, turns a new page to reflecting readers＇ experience in literature appreciation. This is a critical turning point from literature text itself to readers＇ experience. Based on this theory, the essay expounds readers＇ experience and creative appreciation of Robert Frost＇s ＂The Road Not Taken＂ and illustrates the value and philosophical inspiration from the actualization of the text.
