摘要
笔者用定量和定性相结合的方法探讨了大学生会话含意推理过程中所使用的认知策略.会话含意测试后对12名典型学生进行了回顾访谈,收集了会话含意推理过程的数据.对这些数据归类分析的结果发现:不同英语水平大学生在推测会话含意过程中使用一些共有的认知策略,但同时也存在着差异.该研究有助于我们了解会话含意的推理过程及其正确理解所需知识和能力.
This thesis used quantitative and qualitative methods to explore the cognitive strategies employed by Chinese students of English major at two different proficiency levels in the interpreting process of conversation implicature. After the implicature test, 12 students were selected for further retrospective interview. The analysis of their interpreting processes showed there were common and different cognitive strategies adopted by different levels of students in the interpretation.
