现代化是世界性的发展潮流,中国的发展不能脱离这一趋势。改革开放以来,我国的社会主义现代化建设取得了重大的成就,我国的犯罪状况也不容乐观,社会治安形势非常严峻。我们既要看到在现代化建设的一定阶段犯罪增长有着必然性;也要看到,随着我国现代化建设的深入开展,预防、控制和减少犯罪是可以实现的。

So the building of our country＇ s socialist modernization has acquired great achievement. At the same time, our country＇ s criminal situation is not optimism and the situation of public security is very severely. We should correctly treat and objectively analyze criminal issue in modernization advance. The crime rate has increased is inevitably during the modernization, as well as, we should believe prevent, control and reduce crime can be realized along with the development of our country＇ s modernization.
