摘要
在传统中国,乡村社会并未曾出现真正的乡村自治,而是国家权力与乡村社会权力并存,并在这两种权力的交锋面上产生了权力的中介领域。即使是在这样的中介领域,国家权力也是不可动摇地占据着主角地位,而民间权威始终是一个配角。
Rural self- government had never really appeared in traditional China, instead state power and rural society power existed side by side, and the power intermediary sphere produced on the confrontation of power. Even if in such sphere, state power still occupied the position of leading role; meanwhile folk authority played a minor role.
