摘要
科学教学主要包括促使学生进行主动学习的科学策略和经过系统检验可适应不同学生的教学方法。本文认为,新的课堂教学模式即学生在科学过程中主动学习、积极发现的方法来代替传统讲座式的教学可大大提高学习效果和知识保持率。因此,教师应将菜谱式的实验室、教室转变成开放的、基于质询的实验室,学校、政府和社会亦应承担相应的责任。
Scientific teaching involves active learning strategies to engage students in the process of science and teaching methods that have been systematically tested and shown to reach diverse students. There is mounting evidence that supplementing or replacing lectures with active learning trategies and engaging students in discovery and scientific process improves learning and knowledge retention. Teachers are encouraged to convert cookbook labs into open-ended, inquiry-based labs. During this scientific teaching reform movement, research universities should provide leadership, and the governments and societies both should take their own duties. The benefits will be an invigorated research enterprise fueled by a scientifically literate society.
