摘要
从审美直觉心理学的角度明确提出“视觉思维”概念,以揭示视觉器官在感知外物时的理性功能以及一般思维活动中视觉意象所起的巨大作用,以化解“知觉”与“思维”、感性与理性、艺术与科学之间的割裂、矛盾和对立,是阿恩海姆在视觉艺术理论或审美直觉心理学方面的重要贡献,而蕴涵在这种贡献背后的另一个贡献,就是提出了值得进一步深入研究和思考的问题,包括视觉思维提法的科学性问题、视觉思维的本质问题和视觉思维的创造性问题。
Rudolph Arenheim clearly put forward the notion of "visual thinking" from the angle of aesthetic intuitive psychology so as to reveal the rational functions of the visual organs when feeling the outside matters, and the immense role the visual image plays in general thinking activities. One important contribution Arenheim made in the fields of visual art theories is to reconcile the separation, contradiction and the opposition between "perception" and "thinking", sense impressions and rationality, arts and sciences. Besides, Arenheim raised questions for further research, such as the scientific naming, the matter of essence and the creativity of visual thinking.
