With a review of the great achievement and the development course of China in the construction of the the- orefical system of information science, this paper discusses the current major filed and the future development characteristics and trend of the construction of the theoretical system of information science in China, and puts forward some strategies and principles for the further strengthening of the construction of the theoretical system of information science.
