This paper introduces the electrode＇s three-dimensional movement including straight movement, transverse movement and feeding movement in welders＇ operations ,and describes the relationship of these movements ,also ,it analyzes the essentials about the operations of level welding,vertical position welding, horizontal position welding and overhead position welding in the main points of ＇Four Basic Methods＇ .Therefore,it＇s essential to master the main points about the practical operation of ＂four methods＂ to ensure the quality of seam.
