This paper presents some problems in devices for lowering the tempera- ture in washing circulation wate system for a blast furnace. Based on principles of spraying and lowering the temperature, spray propulsion misting devices were adopted and satisfacto ry efficiency of lowering the temperature and economic benefit were obtained. The paper proposes improvement measures.
