Medial型望远镜是一种折反射系统,具有优良的球差和色差校正,其中反射面受妥善保护,能长期使用,二级光谱校正比复消色差更好,且无需使用特殊光学材料,这种系统在科普望远镜上有实用价值。
The Medial telescope is a catadioptric system, with good correction of spherochromatic aberration. The reflecting surfarce is well protected so that,it can be used for a long time. The secondary chromatic aberration in medial system is better corrected than apochromatic objective and no special optical materials is needed. Such system may be found applications in amateur and educational telescopes.
