Hydraulic blasting is a technique of destruction in a city by means of controlled blasting.It utilizes water as medium to transmit the explosive energy of an explosive to a construction to be demolished,so that the demolition is accomplished without ally mechanical facilities involved.This paper introduces the design and succesful operation of destructing a reinforced concrete shelter with the technique of hydraulic blasting.
