The article introduces the geography site, the history, the cultual relic value, present situation of slideslope deformation and control works about Beijing Jietai Temple. The geology foundation, the slope condition, the deformation character and extent resulting in Jietai Temple slideslope are discussed though expounding and analysing the topography landforms, the geology structure, the stratigraphical-lichological character, the hydrology geology condition, and the mineral deposit layers distribution of the Jietai Temple mountain ridges. By means of unique discussion and judgement for coal mine dig hollow extent and dig hollow areas collapsible deformation mechanism, it is pointed out that large scale coal mining hollow areas is the main reason for the slideslope further expounding mechanism and character of slideslope deformation.
