The Scientific Spirit and Humane Spirit in the Man's Development

科学精神与人文精神的关系,是社会现代化进程中的重要问题,由于缺乏深度的哲学——人学思考,在这一关系的理解上存在着一些误区。由根基处阐明科学精神与人文精神的关系,须从人的发展视角入手。马克思哲学不仅设定了人的发展的价值取向,具有鲜明的人文诉求和人文意义,而且确立了与之相关的科学认识。建构当代中国的人文精神,理解并确立人文精神与科学精神的统一,应以马克思人的发展理论为导向。

The relationship between scientific spirit and humane spirit is an important problem in the process of social modernization. Due to the lack of deep thinking in philosophy （human studies）, there are some misunderstandings of this relationship. To expound the relation between scientific spirit and humane spirit, we must begin from the perspective of human development. Marx＇s philosophy not only sets up the value orientation of human development and has obvious humane pursuit and humane meaning, but also establishes correlative knowledge of science. We should construct humane spirit for the contemporary China, understand and establish the unity of humane spirit and scientific spirit under the direction of Marx＇s theories of human development.
