近代中国区域城市发展不平衡的现象分析

Analysis on the Unbalanced Development Between Cities of Different Areas of Modern China

中国是一个幅员辽阔、人口众多、气候和自然条件迵异的大国,区域城市发展不平衡由来已久。步入近代,伴随着开埠通商和近代机器大工业在部分城市的兴起,区域城市间的发展差距日趋拉大。在区域上近代东部通商口岸城市和西部内陆城市的不同命运呈现了强烈反差。造成这种发展的不平衡主要是和历史地理环境、交通环境、政府政策以及人口的流动等因素密切相关的。通过揭示近代中国区域城市发展的艰难历程,对当前政府部门制定区域与城市经济发展战略无疑具有重要的历史借鉴作用。

With the springing up of the international trade and industrialization, the difference between cities of different areas is becoming larger and larger, which related to the historic geographical environment, traffic environment, governmental policies, population flows and so on. The analysis of the difficult experience of the development of cities of modem China is very significant for governments to make plans to develop eco- nomics of cities and regions.
