A Method to Mask Threshold Calculation in Digital Audio Compression

本文提出了一种估计听觉掩蔽门限的算法。利用这种算法得到的计算结果与实测曲线相吻合,而且该算法复杂度低,运算量小,实时性强。可以用于多种形式的商质量数字音频压缩方案。

In this paper we put forward a method to estimate the audio masking threshold. The result got by using this method agrees to the practical curve- Moreover,this method is of less complexity,requires less calculation and has good real-time performance. So it can be used in many high quality digital audio compression programs.
