Paradigm and Transcendence:An Anthropological Study of the Chinese Society

通过对人类学研究中国社会的民族志方法、市场体系理论、民间宗教等范式的反思,结合人类学对中国社会的应用性,提出了一些新的研究思路和视角,如将人类学的社会意义培育于公共空间之中,关注人类学的宇宙观等,并就田野工作的方法、经验及研究选题进行了讨论。

By rethinking the paradigm of ethnographical methods that are applied to anthropological study of the Chinese society, the paradigm of market system theory, and the paradigm of folk religion, and by integrating with the applicability of anthropology to the Chinese society, the author proposes some new research ideas and perspectives, e.g. cultivating social significance of anthropology in public space, paying close attention to the world view of anthropology. He also discusses about the methods and experience of field work and the selection of research topics.
