From the perspective of Literary Camivalization, this paper endeavors to make an analysis of the Carnival features presented in Donald Barthelme' s short story The Glass Mountain, so as to find out how he deconstructs and reconstructs the traditional values of life embedded in the fairy tale Princess and the Glass Mountain.
