Between the Ideology and the Literary Form——On the Literary Ideal of Terry Eagleton

以文学形式为切入点,以马克思的意识形态理论为理论起点分析作为意识形态生产的文化现象,是伊格尔顿文学观念的理论核心。在伊格尔顿看来,现代文学话语是一种意识形态话语体系,它的生成及转变与西方社会和历史的变化有着内在的社会关联,这种关联不是体现在文学内容上,而是体现在文学形式上。打破文学的自律性幻想,引入文化研究的思想,进而在深层次上突破资本主义社会的意识形态观念是伊格尔顿文学观的现实指向。作为“左”派理论的重要代表,伊格尔顿的文学观念具有鲜明的反本质主义色彩,但也体现着这种“左”派理论的泛政治倾向。

The key of Terry Eagleton＇s literary ideal is to analyse the literary discourse system by the ideology theory of Marxism. The origination and the development of the fiterary discourse, especially the form of the literature, are closely related to the historical and the social conditions. To break the hnaginafion of the romantic fiterery ideology for the aim of changing the form of the society is the basic aim of Terry Eagleton＇s fiterary ideal. But the extensive pofitic contestation is the obvious trend in his opinion as a kind of New Left.
