培养学生的信息素养,提高学生处理和运用信息的能力,已成为新世纪教育的重要内容和任务。阐述了信息素养的内涵及特征,分析了高校图书馆开展学生信息素养教育的优势,并提出了对学生进行信息素质教育所应采取的措施。

Cultivating students＇ information literacy and increasing students＇ ability of processing and applying the information have become the important contents and tasks of the education in the new century. This paper expounds the connotations and features of the information literacy, analyzes on the superiorities of university library in carrying out the information literacy education for the students, and puts forward some measures that should be taken in carrying out the information literacy education for the students.
