外语教学改革中外语教师素质的同步提高

Issue in the education reform-improving English teacher's quality simultaneously

目的教师的素质是影响教学改革的关键因素之一。随着外语教学改革的不断深入,对外语教师的素质提出了更高的要求。分析了外语教学改革的现状后,探讨外语教师在新形势下应具备的基本素质,并提出了继续打好基本功、提高科研意识、提供培训机会,创造继续学习条件等提高外语教师素质的措施。

Objective Teacher quality is one of the key elements which determine the success of teaching reform. Promotion of the present teaching reform has been demanding more on foreign language teacher＇s quality. After analyzing the present condition of foreign language teaching reform, this paper demonstrated that the basic qualities which foreign language teachers should possessed at present, and proposed several suggestions for them to improve their qualities which are developing their english proficiency, improving their research awareuess, providing training chances and further learning conditions for them.
