近几年HFC网络技术的迅猛发展使得网络规模更加庞大、结构更加复杂,只有通过适当的网络管理,功能强大的网络才能得到充分利用,而有效的网络管理及良好性能已成为评价网络的一个重要标准。SNMP是一种易于实现的基本网络管理工具,能满足目前网络管理的需求,将SNMP协议引入到HFC网管系统是大势所趋,而在网络管理的实现过程中,对M IB的实现尤为重要。

As the HFC network technology promptly developing in this years, it has made the network scale more bigger and the structure more complicated, so the effective and upstanding network manage capability have been an important standard to appraise the network. By fight of a tool, SNMP is prone to realize the basicnetwork management, and then to satisfy the need of network management recently, so it is the direction to introduce the SNMP to network management system of HFC. During the coming truth for the network management, SNMP is especially important in the realization of MIB.
