摘要
从姓名称呼、职衔称呼,高层称呼、拟案属称呼等方面探讨了英汉称呼语的文化差异及历史成因,进而分析了两者依托于不同文化背景下的或相似或相导的语用功能,目的在于找到二者的规律性,确保跨文化交际的顺利进行。
Address forms, an important part of human culture, play an important role in people＇s daily communication, reflecting such social relations as power, solidarity, identity and social status between the speaker and the addressee. This paper discusses the main differences between English and Chinese address forms and their pragmatic function so as to unveil their regularity and ensure the success of intercultural communication.
