基于网格的信息检索系统体系结构研究

基于Web的信息检索系统存在着异构Web数据的互操作性、跨平台的数据访问和软件开发、调试与维护、可伸缩性和安全管理等问题。分析了WebIR的不足,基于网格环境的信息检索系统具有可伸缩性、灵活性和安全性等优点。提出基于网格的信息检索系统的体系结构及各网格服务的功能要求,GridIR为GridIR系统的进一步研究和开发提供了一种基本解决方案。

There exists many disadvantages inthe web-based information retrieval system （WebIR）, such as the interoperability between the heterogeneous web data, access to the cross-platform data, the development, debugging, maintenance, the flexibility and the security management of the WebIR system. This paper makes a comparison between the system architeetures of the WebIR system and the GridIR system which has many advantages, such as the scalability, the flexibility, the security management and so on. The architecture of a grid-based information retrieval system and the functions of all the grid services needed are proposed and discussed, which emits a basic due for the timber research of GridIR system.
