南阳市旅游业具有发展速度快、骨干景区渐成气候、产品系统性不足和接待服务能力有待提高等特点。以科学发展观统领旅游业发展全局、进一步提高旅游规划水平、打造精品旅游景区、提高接待服务能力是新时期旅游背景下促进南阳市旅游业健康发展,实现由旅游大市向旅游强市转化的主要措施。
Tourism in Nanyang city is characteristic of its rapid development, the key scenic spots but its products which are quite systematic and the reception capacity which needs improving. In line with scientific development, tourism design in Nanyang must be raised to a higher level. Scenic spots must be built into the best to receive more guests. All this will be the main step to promote Nanyang from a big tourist city into a strong one in the new situation of tourism.
