介绍了建筑物叠层橡胶基础隔震的概念和国内的发展状况，总结了叠层橡胶基础隔震的主要特性和研究成果，讨论了在应用中存在的一些问题．
in the paper, the concept and development of the base isolation with laminated rubber bearings are briefly introduced. Then the research achievements in the field in China are summarized. Finally some problems in the applications are discussed.
