摘要
为保障VOD(V ideo-On-Dem and)的服务质量,研究了具有流量控制机制的流媒体网络通信技术,在深入探讨视频点播系统架构,分析客户端和服务器端的需求的基础上,提出了基于客户端的动态缓存算法和基于发送端的速率控制算法,实现了具有流量控制算法的视频点播系统。该系统采用双缓冲队列技术,设计了动态缓冲区客户端可根据网络状态不同自动改变缓冲区大小;给出速率控制算法的推导和设计。结果表明,该系统增强了对媒体流的传输控制能力,实现了流量控制功能,改善了系统的服务质量(QoS:Quality ofService)。
In order to ensure the quality of the VOD (Video-On-Demand) system, this dissertation has shown a research work on streaming media network communication technology with flow control functions. Based on deeply discussed structure and analyzing the demand of the client and server, the dynamic buffering algorithm based on client-control and the rate control algorithms based on sever control are proposed within this paper, the dynamic buffer of the system is designed by using the double - buffer model. The client can automatically change the size of the buffer according to the network status. The study and design of rate control algorithm has been given. The resuh indicates that the system ability to control streaming media has been enhanced. The flow control functions were realized and system QoS ( Quality of Service) has therefore been improved
