This paper mainly describes the technical criterion and performances of Hydrostar 4300 Double Frequency Detector produced by ELAC company of Germany. All performances parameters are tested and adjusted before the echo sounder is used. Some questions in use are explained briefly. The paper serves as a reference to colleagues.
