Huobushayi, an old man of Yi ethnic group, embraces the traditional long-hair lifestyle of his ancestors, although he suffered in the past by being forced to cut off his hair. His traditional life helps him to be serene and unruffled, just like his saying ＂1 feel surefooted while sleeping with my long hair as a pillow.＂ Only in this way does he feel that he is living in harmony with his forebears and deities.
