Based on the summary of development and research of bovine embryo transfer technology home and abroad, the concrete manipulation procedure of bovine embryo transfer including the selection and management of donor and donee, the superovulation, oestrus identification, and mating of donor cows, the oestrus synchronization of donee, embryo pickup and quality control, and embryo transfer was introduced, and the existing problems and developing perspectives in bovine embryo transfer technology were elaborated as well.
