高速光纤通信系统中偏振模色散的研究方法分析

摘要 目前偏振模色散(PMD)已成为长距离高速率数据和模拟系统的主要限制因素。主要分析讨论了PMD的几种研究方法:琼斯矩阵法、斯托克斯空间法和耦合非线性薛定谔方程。耦合非线性薛定谔方程多用于PMD对光纤传输系统性能的影响分析,文中对分步傅里叶法数值解非线性方程进行了详细的分析。 At present,Polarization Mode Dispersion(PMD) has became an important limiting factor for the performance of long - distance high data rate digital and analog communication systems. In this paper, several study methods on PMD are analyzed,such as Jones matrix,Stokes vector and the coupled nonlinear Schrodinger equation. The fiber propagation model can be described by the nonlinear Schrodinger equation when PMD is considered. The split - step Fourier method is also described in detail.
