Expansive soil is a high plasticity clay, which has the properties of expansion texture, multi -crevasses, strong swell-shrink and intensity-weakening, so when we build superhighway in expansive soil area, we find a universal problem that the side slope and foundation- bed will distort. In this essay, we introduce the mechanism of NCS firming agent and the advantage in improving the structure of expansive soil in order to enhance the construction technology of the roadbed reclamation quality.
