Shijiazhuang city, Hebei province plans to invest 15 billion RMB in construction of a ＂green chemical city＂. Currently the construction of phase I project for Shijiazhuang Recycling Economy Chemical Demonstration Base has been kicked off with investment totaling 3 billion RMB, and the construction is scheduled for completion in 2007.
