论大学生志愿者活动的“双弱势原则”

On the Principle of Double Vulnerability for the Volunteering Activities of University Students

大学生志愿者活动具有双重功能,即促进大学生的社会化和向社会贡献人、财、物力。而比较大学生的社会化需要和社会对无偿贡献的需求,该活动具有双重珍贵性和双重短缺性。为了实现大学生志愿者活动的效益最大化,应该贯彻“双弱势原则,”把弱势人群列为志愿服务的主要对象,把弱势学生当作志愿服务的主体。而要贯彻该原则,志愿者服务活动的组织者还要改变心态和组织方法,加强同弱势群体的联系和对弱势学生的鼓励。

Volunteering activ-ities of the university students are of double function, which means enhancing socialization of the students and contribution of human resource and labor power to the society. In comparing with the needs of students＇ socialization and the demand of society for free contribution, the volunteering activities of the university students are characterized with double significance and double shortage. In order to maximum the effect of student＇s volunteering activities, the ＂principle of double vulnerability＂ needs to be implemented, which means to focus on vulnerable groups as client of volunteering service, and on vulnerable students as volunteering subject. Implementation of such a principle also requires organizers of the volunteering service to change their mental preparation and management method, and to enhance their connection with vulnerable groups and the encouragement of the vulnerable students.
