摘要
宋代对医官制度作了前所未有的改革,创立翰林医官院负责医官人事管理,创立医官名号和阶衔以及地方医官等级制度;医科取士效法太学三舍考选法,考核通过者直接赐医学出身,授与官阶与官职。中央与县级以上行政区都开办医学教育,医学赐第之后许多人做了州县官,占了文官的职缺,引起文官的不满;同时医官队伍庞大,冗员过多。
The Song Government reformed the medical doctor system by establishing the Royal Medical Administration responsible for personnel management of the doctors, classifying the doctors according to an official ranking system, and introducing a strictly mandated examination system for choosing doctors. Medical education was made generally available above the county-level, and those who excelled in medical studies were granted governmental positions, which led to the grudge of other government officials and over-staffing of medical personnel in the government institutions.
