Various interrupt processing strategies and hardware implementation techniques in modern microprocessors are introduced in detail from the aspects of interrupt accuracy, the implementation ways of interrupt processing system, various interrupt processing hardware, etc. The strategies and techniques which may be adopted in each stage of interrupt processing are discussed with ten microprocessors as examples.
