摘要 近年在台湾地区进行的两次“先导计划”和“大学校务评鉴”报告,汇整并讨论台湾地区大学通识教育实施现况与相关问题。介绍台湾各大学现行通识教育的现况,并举例说明三种通行的模式:共同与通识课程均衡选修模式;通识均衡选修模式;核心课程模式。根据评鉴报告,汇整“校务评鉴”与“先导计划”评鉴等关于26所学校的评鉴结果,分类说明从评鉴报告中所看到的不同类组学校的通识教育之优点与缺失,对于缺失,建议实行“核心课程”模式。 This article discusses the two large-scale evaluations and an accreditation report of general education conducted in Taiwan in recent years. It introduces the current situation of general education in colleges and universities in Taiwan. It also reviews three different models of general education as implemented in Taiwan with some examples, including common and general curriculum equilibrium elective model, general education equilibrium elective model, and core curriculum model. According to the accreditation report and results conducted in 26 schools, the paper presents both the strength and weakness of general education in these schools. The author suggests that the "core curriculum" model should be the most suitable one for Taiwan's general education in the future.
