Re-commentary of Artistic Thought of Zhou Zuoren

周作人的文艺思想是丰富而复杂的,时至今日,国内学术界对其文艺思想的认识和评价仍是不全面和不公正的。他的文艺思想主要包含六个方面:倡导人的文学的思想;倡导文艺自由的思想;主张文艺应抒写个人性情、应有个性;主张文艺应具有民族特色和地方气息;倡导“自由之中自有节制,豪华之中实含清涩”的古典韵味;主张文艺批评也是创作。

The artistic thoughts of Zhou Zuoren are abundant and complex, in my opinion, to today, the recognition and commentary of him are meager and unfair in the academic fields in our country. This article attempts to make a re-commentary and relatively compre- hensive of artistic thought of Zhou Zuoren from six aspects ： Proposing the thought of literature of human; Proposing the thought of artistic freedom; Proposing that art should express individual characteristic and should have its characteristics; Proposing that art should have national characteristic and details of local life ; Proposing that ＂there is the limitation in the freedom, and there is fresh characteristic and simplicity in luxury ＂ of the ancient style ; Proposing that artistic commentary is also artistic creation.
