My Academic Experience

最初的鲁迅研究,给我打下治学的基础。一个偶然的机遇,使我转向中国话剧史的研究,认定中国话剧是研究中国近百年文化艺术史的一个典型领域。从曹禺的研究开始,以及对郭沫若和田汉的个案研究,而走进中国现代比较戏剧史的研究,由此不断扩展到中国现代戏剧理论批评史、二十世纪戏剧论辩史,以及新时期戏剧的研究。在不断的学术交流中,逐渐延展到对台湾、香港和澳门戏剧史的研究。我希望能够写出一部《中国话剧艺术通史》来。

Studies of Lu Xun helped me lay a solid foundation for academic research. Later I turned to the study of the history of Chinese drama by chance, believing that it is a typical field for studying the history of Chinese culture and art in the recent 100 years. I started from Guo Moruo and Tian Hart and then expanded from history of modem Chinese criticism, new-period drama to drama in Taiwan , Macao and Hong Kong. I hope I can turn out a book entitield A Comprehensive History of Chinese Drama Art.
