摘要
澳洲ESL课堂教学以交际为手段,以学生的兴趣和需要为宗旨,呈现出一体化、时事化、人文化特征。全文在具体评介这些特征的同时,针对性地分析了我国英语教学中存在的不足,以期改进之。
Centering upon the students' interest and needs, the Australian ESL classroom teaching demonstrates three main features by way of communication: integrated teaching, use of current issues, and humanistic approach. Apart from introducing and commenting on those approaches, the authors analyzed the problems in English language teaching in China in comparison with the Australian approaches in hopes of improving domestic English language teaching.
