A Questionaire on the English Learning in Primary School in Lishui City and Some Analysis

从丽水市城镇小学英语的学习现状出发,对城镇儿童的英语学习情况进行问卷调查和分析比较,认为只在校内学习的学生离新课标规定的目标差距较大,且明显落后于参加校外补习的学生,借此分析、揣测校外英语补习热的某些原因,并对小学和小学英语教师提出一些建议。

Based on the reality of English learning in Lishui District, the author carried out a study through questionnaire on how the city primary school pupils learn English and their attitudes towards English study and made a comparative analysis. The study shows that there is a long distance for the pupils who only study English at school to reach the goals set in the New English Curriculum Standards compared with those who also study English in extracurricular class. Thus this study tends to surmise some possible reasons for the extracurricular craze and gives some personal suggestions for schools and teachers.
