基于SOPC的MPEG4视频解码器的设计方案

摘要 随着图像采集、显示分辨率、高级压缩以及视频智能技术的进展,视频应用的处理带宽也在不断增加。多变的标准和分辨率要求也使得设计人员无法采用现有的技术。因此,FPGA模块化、可编程及高带宽的优势在视频及图像处理领域越来越明显。本文介绍了一种新的基于FPGA的MPEG4视频解码系统的解决方案———SOPC。整个设计集中在一片芯片内,具有较高性能及灵活性。 As great progress has taken place in image acquisition, display resolution, advanced compression and smart video technique, the demands on bandwidth of video signal processing is increasing continuously. Designers cannot adopt existed technology to meet with the requirement on variety in standards and resolution. So, the trends of implementing image and video signal processor on FPGA for its modularization, programmable and high bandwidth characteristics are obvious. This paper introduced a novel solution of a MPEG4 video decoding system based on FPGA SOPC. The whole design is integrated on a single chip providing high performance and flexibility.
