CNOOC announced its business results for the first quarter of 2006 in late-April, with the total revenue hitting another record high by reaching 16.66 yuan, a 45.1 percent rise from the same period of last year. For the first three months of 2006, the crude oil and liquids production of CNOOC Limited reached 383,519 barrels per day while the gas production amounted to 390 million cubic feet per day. The Company also reported an 11 percent increase of its net production offshore China, which was 415,144 BOE per day.
