实事求是与时俱进:中国共产党解决台湾问题的重要思想理论原则

On the CPC's Principle on Taiwan Affairs

新中国成立50多年来,尽管以毛泽东、邓小平、江泽民、胡锦涛等为核心的四代中央领导集体所处的历史时代和面临的国内外形势不尽相同,但在对台问题上都始终坚持了一个中国的原则立场和“实事求是,与时俱进”的重要思想理论原则。他们都主张,在实现祖国统一的大前提下,必须因时顺势,具体政策和措施要考虑和尊重台湾的现实以及国内外形势的发展,并提出了符合实际的对台方针政策。从而,不仅充分体现了中国共产党和中国政府解决台湾问题方针政策的一脉相承性,体现了中国共产党和中国政府发展两岸关系、促进祖国统一的决心和诚意,而且有效地维护了台湾作为中国领土一部分的地位,推进了两岸关系的发展。

Over the fifty years after the founding of the People＇ s Republic of China, the four generations of leaders of the CPC have always adhered to the principle of ＂Seeking truth from facts and advancing with times＂ as is shown in the policies of the CPC on Taiwan in different periods of time. This principle shows the sincerity of the Communist Party of China and the Chinese government to improve the cross-strait relations and their determination to promote the reunificaton of China's Mainland and Taiwan.
