On the Problem of Professionalization and Work Role of Instructors in Colleges and Universities

我国高校的政治辅导员制度始建立于20世纪50年代初。目前,辅导员“非职业化”表现为工作的短期性、队伍的非专业性、职责的不明确性、学术上的薄弱性等方面。在新的历史时期,随着职业分工的细化,辅导员的职业化已势在必行。因此,要大力推行“辅导员任职资格证书”制,提高任职资格条件及待遇标准,加大辅导员专业学习和培训的工作力度,科学设置管理机构,进行规范化管理。

The system of political instructors in colleges and universities was established in early fifties in the 20th century. Now, the non-professionalizatin of instructors can be embodied in its short-run work, non-professional staff unclear official duties and lacking in academic learning. In the new period, with the detailed division of occupation, professional instructors are certain to turn up. Therefore, it is imperative to carry out the system of instructor qualification certificate, improve their qualification requirement and treatment standard, step up their professional study and training, scientifically set up administration organizations, and promote standardized management.
