On the Skills of Translation: Shift of View Point

英语和汉语在表达方法上有很多不同之处。在翻译的时候既要把原句的意义和风格表达出来,又要符合汉语的习惯。常用的英汉翻译方法:视角转换法。词序的调整、词性的转化、反译法、语态的变换、从句的转换阐述说明。

There are many differences in the way of expressions between English and Chinese. When we translate a sentence we have to convey not only the literal meaning and style, but also the connotation of the idioms. This paper introduces a translation method ： shifting view point, which is illustrated from the rearrangement of words; shift of part of speech; counter- translation; shift of voiee and clauses.
