颜色词在英汉双语中的使用

On the Use of Color Words in English and Chinese

本文采用对比的手法探讨了英汉两种语言中颜色词的差异,说明由于民族历史、社会制度、道德信仰等方面的差异,颜色的表示方法和使用也有很多的不同,对同一种颜色词的理解也有很大差别。因此,了解并掌握颜色词及其所构成词汇,对跨文化研究与交流有一定的实际意义。

This paper discusses the difference between English and Chinese color words by comparison and analyzes the many kinds of usages owing to the difference of the history of the race, the social system, morality and belief. Also, the same word has various meanings because of that. Therefore, understanding and grasping these words and their variations will have practical significances in intercultural communication.
