本文通过分析20世纪初期上海城市娱乐体系的类别构成,以及娱乐设施数量、体量和质量结构的演变趋势,揭示了上海城市娱乐发展的现代性特征,并阐述了30年代城市娱乐走向鼎盛时期的重要表征。而高度繁荣的城市娱乐生活对上海城市社会、经济和文化诸多方面产生深远影响。

Through analyzing the classification of the urban recreation system, as well as the developing trends of the recreational spots＂ amount, capacity, quality and structure, this paper discloses that the modernity characters of the development of the Shanghai urban recreation industry is an important symbol that indicates the Shanghai urban recreation was moving to its most prosperous period in the 1930s. Highly prosperous urban recreations will have a far-reaching influence on the Shanghai urban society, economy, culture and so on.
